DULCINEA is the very successful result of a working relationship between the designer, our project manager, the builder and us. We are delighted with the end result. The cockpit area was for us a key feature and DULCINEA has a fantastic living, working cockpit. It is both large and comfortable to relax in and yet well protected in heavy weather and suited to short handed sailing. The walk through from the aft deck, helm position to the main cockpit and on to the companionway works wonderfully. Aft, the hydraulic swim platform and good size lazerette are ideal features for anyone with a love for diving or simply swimming. Interior spaces and all of the accommodation have been thoughtfully designed to maximise volume and headroom without compromise to looks or performance. The owner's cabin is exceptional, but we also ensured that our guests and family would be generously catered for. The saloon and cockpit form spacious social areas and yet guests may also retreat to the privacy of their cabins and listen to their own music or even watch a DVD! DULCINEA is a practical but luxurious offshore yacht with excellent performance. She maybe sailed short handed by her owner, but is large enough to carry crew in comfort. Having sailed DULCINEA from New Zealand to the Mediterranean and on to the Caribbean and back again to Spain I can testify that she has matched our hopes and expectations. She continues to give enormous pleasure and we normally sail in the Mediterranean in the summer crossing to the Caribbean for the winters. Her crew is full-time and she charters successfully when we are not aboard. We only now consider selling as we plan a new project, combining the same successful team to create a larger yacht. I would like to refer you to the magazine Boat International, June 2002 issue in which DULCINEA was featured. DULCINEA is now looking better than ever after a season spent in refit on the East Coast of the US and, after the current Caribbean season, will be returning to the Eastern Seaboard for a series of charters already booked.
