The Nicholson 476 is an iconic yacht that is of the first quality and which turns heads always Construction: Below the waterline the hull is made of a single skin; a grid system of longitudinal and athwartship framing is employed to transmit rigging, keel and hydrodynamic loads. The topsides are balsa-cored laminate with Kevlar reinforcement in the outer laminate for impact and abrasion resistance. The cored topsides provide panel stiffness and thermal insulation. All bulkheads are completely glued to the hull and the superstructure, together with the laminated floor support and the heavy stringers, create a very stiff and torsion free yacht.
