Remarks OCEAN LEOPARD has been hugely successful since her launch in 1988 as a charter and private yacht. She is a fast yacht and is easy to handle with her cutter rig and fully battened mainsail. During her sailing lift she has cruised extensively in the Mediterranean and Caribbean as well as in the South Pacific visiting French Polynesia, Tonga, Figi, Australia and New Zealand. OCEAN LEONARD held the Round the Island race record for 5 years from 1991. From 1989 to 1998 she participated in the Voile de St Tropez and Antigua Race week each year. In 1992 she took line honours in the Round Great Britain Race. She has an easily driven hull. In 2002 she was upgraded to MCA category zero. In 2004 OCEAN LEOPARD was put into refit at Peri Yachting in Turkey and extensively refitted. The refit was completed in (2005). Works undertaken included:- GRP repairs

Installation of new communications system and upgrade of navigational instrumentation OCEAN LEOPARD has never looked better. She is totally ready for serious cruising and is the ultimate family cruising yacht which would also be ideal for charter. She is only now being reluctantly offered for sale as her owners plans have changed In 2009, it was found that there was moisture present in some of the frames. Therefore this whole area was opened up and dried. It was established that the source of this were the fresh water tanks, therefore the tops of the water tanks were opened and new high density polyethylene tanks inserted. This was all done under surveyors supervision. It was found that there was no structural implication arising from this defect. It was then decided to service and re-commission the yacht and to store her afloat with guardinnage to maintain her systems. She is ready to sail.
