Fully equipped 72ft cruising yacht of Bruce Farr design and built by the renowned Southern Winds yard in 1998. Stacks or recent expenditure, so she's all there.

    The self-draining chain locker is watertight to the forepeak and equipped with an inspection hatch.

    Addition support is introduced at the mast foot by way of an FRP ring frame.
    Chain plates are stainless steel plates mechanically fastened to solid FRP part bulkheads, which are glassed athwart ships to the hull sides, ring frame and under deck.
    24 stainless steel keel bolts secure the keel through an interior stainless steel plate.
    The cabin sole is fully removable for inspection of the bilges.
    All hatches are aluminum framed.
    Hull repainted in 2002 in Awlgrip. Engine and Mechanical Perkins M225 Ti, 225 hp. 4,500 engine hours at Sept 2008

    New Westerbeke generator, 12 kW (4/2009) fully insulated in engine room. Guests Accommodation: High quality furnished saloon with large dining table to port and additional settee and coffee table to starboard. There is a drinks chiller and fitted glassware and crockery cabinets ensure no breakages when sailing. Forward, there are three guest cabins in total

  • all with quality furniture offering lots of hanging and drawer-space. For added comfort there is Air-Conditioning throughout the yacht
  • offering reverse cycle heating.
    All hatches have mosquito and black-out screens. Aft Accommodation: Captains single berth cabin; twin bunks cabin with separate bathroom; full navigation area.
    A galley door means the whole aft section may be separated from the guests.

    Frigomar Air conditioning serves the whole interior of the vessel by a central chiller. Plumbing The chiller plant is installed in the engine room and fitted with reverse-cycling valves for heating
    Purposes, delivering chilled/hot water to six air-handlers throughout the vessel.
    Each air handler is equipped with independent thermostat controls. Condensed water drains into the bilges, emptied by the two automatic bilge pumps.
    The system features two hermetic compressors, a raw-water cooling pump, and a circulation pump
    for the chilled water. The whole system operates at 220-VAC.

    HEM watermaker, 180 litres / hour
    The fresh water plumbing is a combination of PVC piping and flexible rubber hose. Pressurized fresh water via 24-VDC pump with spare.
    The 4 marine toilets (Tecma) new 2006 are electrically operated (24-VDC) and flushed with fresh water.
    All four toilets discharge exclusively into two holding tanks
  • FRP and stainless, fore and aft.
    The crew toilet has optional discharge overboard or into a holding tank.
